THE BRIEF: Create a superstar moment for Walmart employee contest winners.

  • Produced a large-scale, award-show-style opening ​act for Walmart's annual Shareholder’s coference ​performed in front of 35,000 store associates.


  • Collaborated in the creative process including, ​brainstorming, mood boarding and client ​presenting. Integrated 10 associates talents with a ​cast of 40 back-up dancers, 10-piece house band ​and top-tier stage production.


  • Led full scope of project logistics for entire cast and ​crew.
  • Creatively ensure that store associates felt ​spotlighted and not overshadowed by supporting ​talent.


  • Managing the logistics for international clients ​from around the world, including visas, flights, ​conflicting schedules, dietary restrictions, and ​more.


  • On-site scheduling: As part of a larger program, ​advocating for additional stage time for tech ​checks and dress rehearsals.
  • Developed and distributed a comprehensive ​staff handbook prior to the event, ensuring all ​parties were well-informed and aligned before ​arriving on-site.


  • Adhered to strict brand guidelines and ​processes while preserving creative expression ​for associates.


  • Enabled contest winners to feel like main stage ​performers through collaborative teamwork ​and shared vision.

  • Achieving exceptional outcomes while operating ​within strict budgetary constraints.


  • Navigating conflicting needs and expectations of ​stakeholders such as brand partners (maximising ​sales and brand awareness), artistic talent ​(prioritising creative freedom), and community ​groups (seeking social impact and accessibility).

  • Bridged the gap between internal creative teams, ​external production suppliers, and IBM client. ​Streamlined internal processes, unified stakeholder ​objectives, and oversaw all pre- and on-site ​logistics.


  • Executed full scope of budget management, ​encompassing pre-production planning, on-set ​financial control, and post-production reconciliation.
  • Gaining buy-in and alignment from key ​stakeholders, including the US and UK Head of ​Marketing.


  • Securing the filming location and scheduling IBM ​staff to “star” in video due to summer holiday and ​office closures.


  • Managing on-site logistics such as optimizing ​filming times based on natural light, glass ​reflections, and wardrobe coordination with ​international clients.
  • Demonstrated the project's monetary worth by ​offering clear and measurable examples of its ​potential impact on the bottom line as a ​marketing tool.


  • Proactively and diligently coordinated with ​stakeholders at regional IBM Paris office and ​global Innovation Studios to secure necessary ​space and staffing.


  • Exhibited strong attention to detail by managing ​small but critical tasks, including, optimizing ​natural lighting conditions, glass cleaning and ​wardrobe adjustments.
